Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Douglas. Congratulations on starting your new business! We want to thank you for considering us and we are happy to assist you in setting up your small business account.
You will have to set up the business with the state it will be originating from first. You will then acquire a tax identification number, or employee identification number, when you register your business with the state. The tax identification number is an item that we will need, along with proper photo identification, in opening your business checking or savings account. You can open a business account at any of your local TD Bank stores. This link http://bit.ly/TDStores will help with finding a store near you. If you would like some tips on choosing an account type, click on http://bit.ly/1lWgAhe. This link will also help with the opening deposit requirements needed for the account you choose.
Hope this helps, Douglas. Take care and have a great day!
