Here at TD Bank, should you plan on using either your TD Bank Debit or Credit Card while you travel, we like to recommend that you connect with us, preferably one week, before your trip. By doing so, we can add a travel notification to your account including the dates you'll be traveling, as well as your destinations, which will prevent you from experiencing any acceptance issues during your travels!
When you're ready to have your travel note added to your account, there are a couple ways in which you may contact us, and we invite you to choose the one that is most convenient for you!
First, you're welcome to call 1-888-751-9000 to reach a Banking Specialist, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Customer Service Representatives are also happy to help during lobby hours, at any number of our Store locations. If you'd prefer, you would also have the option of sending us a secure message. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'.
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
It's important to note that the methods above will allow you to place a travel notification on your TD Bank Debit Card, and should you need to place a travel note on your TD Bank Credit Card, you may dial 888-561-8861 to speak with a Credit Card Specialist, 24/7.
As a friendly reminder, TD Bank Debit Cards can be used anywhere VISA is accepted, anywhere around the globe!
