when i try to put in my phone number, on the first part of the application to open my new TD bank account, it said i'm formatting my phone number wrong, i tried a few different way to put it in, but its not going. and they don't say how i should put it in.

When entering your phone number in the new account application, you'll want to enter it with no spaces or dashes. For example: 1234567890.
