I notified my bank that I was leaving Toronto for a few months, and i still wanted to be able to use checking account. I was able to use it about three times to cash out from secured Banks (HSBC), and I havent been able to use it for a week now. It says the bank wont authorize my transactions.

Thank you for taking the time to write to us here on TD Helps, Hugo. We're sorry for the difficulties that you are experiencing with your debit card and we'll be happy to lead you in the right direction.
Based on the information you have provided, it seems that you have an account with TD Canada Trust, but you have reached TD Bank in the United States. However, we invite you to visit here: http://bit.ly/1spsoGn our friend, Hung across the border has answered a similar question that may help you regain access to your account.
If you have an US account with TD Bank, we encourage you to contact us 24/7 at 856-751-9000 or via collect at 00+1-215-569-0518. One of our Banking Specialists can determine why your debit card is blocked after proper account verification.
If this is regarding a TD Visa Credit Card, you may contact our Credit Card Specialists while you're outside the United States 24/7 by dialing 706-644-3266.
We hope this helps and let us know if you have any questions, Hugo.
