I already have the proper documentation of a birth certificate my social security number. I'm just really wondering if my parents need to be there. They know I'm trying to make one and do have accounts with TD.

Good evening and thanks for coming to TD Helps today, Fatih! We're excited that you'd like to open an account with us and we'd like to give you some options on how to do so.
We'd like to inform you that you must be at least 18 years of age to open an individual Checking Account with TD Bank. As you are under the age of 18 and wish to open an account, we do ask that an adult accompanies you to one of our nearby TD Bank Stores to open a joint Checking account.
Here at TD Bank, we offer a wide array of accounts and we invite you to visit the below links for more information prior to your visit. We invite you to take a look at what accounts we currently offer by clicking here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 for a list of checking accounts and here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 for a list of our savings accounts. For a personalized recommendation for a checking account click here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
If you decide to open the account with a parent or guardian, you can take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for our hours, locations and contact numbers near you. You may contact the Store directly to set up an appointment or reach out to our Banking Specialists at the number provided below. When visiting, your parent or guardian will need to provide a valid form of identity such as a State License, State ID or Passport, and acceptable forms of identification for minors include a School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security card.
You may also feel free to call us directly at (888) 751-9000 with any questions you may have. Our Banking Specialists are available 24/7 and would be happy to help you with anything you may need.
We certainly hope this helps, Fatih and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
