Thanks for coming by TD Helps with your inquiry. We would be happy to answer your question.
To close your CD we ask that you stop by your local TD Bank during lobby hours with a valid I.D (I.E. State license, State issue I.D, Passport, etc...). Just let a Representative know you are closing out a CD and they will be able to help you. For hours and locations near you, feel free to take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
There may be a penalty if you are requesting to close your CD before its maturity date. You will have a 10 calendar day grace period from your CD maturity date to renew, change terms, or close your CD without penalty. Please take a look here for more details: http://bit.ly/1qAWAk0.
Once you close your CD and withdrawal the funds or if you wish to move those funds into another account, here is some information on the different types of CDs, along with current APY and benefits of each Certificate of Deposit: http://bit.ly/1prV1SF and also here for information on TD Bank’s Savings and Money Market Accounts that may best be of interest to you: http://bit.ly/1hQscMj. If you decide to move those funds into another account, CD or Savings, the Representative would be happy to help!
We hope the information provided helps you. Have a great day and please let us know if you have any other questions.
