I have opened a US acct in the Us. I keep trying to open the acct and it asks me for my username. In Canada I use my TD access # as my user name. It doesn't seem to work when I try to open. So how can I open should I call you and ask you what my username is?

Hi Carol, thanks for connecting with us through TD Helps. We're sorry to hear you're having trouble accessing your Online Banking but you came to the right place!
On the U.S. website, www.tdbank.com, users can log in using their pre-set Username and Password, not a debit card number or account number. If you have not enrolled for Online Banking yet, you can do so here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your US account number, your US TD Debit Card, social security number, and email address.
If you've already enrolled but are unsure of what your Username is or if you do not have the items needed to use the self-service feature to enroll for online banking, you can call us anytime day or night at 888-751-9000 and speak with a Banking Specialist to help you get back online in no time. We're available 24/7 to help, and after one of our specialists has verified you with the proper identification information, we’ll be able to assist you in gaining access to your Online Banking.
If you're in the U.S., you could also visit your local TD Bank Store, where a Banking Specialist will be able to help you. Please check here http://bit.ly/TDStores for Store locations and lobby hours near you.
Hope this helps Carol and have a great day!
