Thank you for reaching us on TD Helps, Federico. Though we'd hate to see you go, we understand how difficult it can be to maintain your account from outside of the US.
In order to regain access to your online account, you would need to contact us directly. You may call us from outside the US by dialing 856-751-9000 or collect with operator's assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 215-569-0518. Our Customer Service Representatives would be happy to help with your user name and password after account verification.
We'd like to take the time to let you know that though you may no longer be in the US, we do still have options for you to maintain your account. TD Bank offers Online and Mobile Banking as well as a free bill pay service. Check http://bit.ly/1lnLZE5 for more details.
If you still wish to close your account and you have a current balance, you may send a request to close your account by mail. Please mail your written, signed and notarized request to:
TD Bank, N.A.
Home Store Address
Home Branch Telephone Number
Be sure to include your account number so we may issue a check for the remaining balance of your account as well as your final statement. If you are unsure of which TD Store in which you opened your account, please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores for a list of all our current locations.
If your account has a zero balance, you have a variety of options available to close your account. The first option is to contact our Customer Service Representatives via the telephone numbers mentioned above. You may also send us a secure message via Online Banking, once you regain access. To send a secure message, please select the option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center" on the left hand side of your Online Banking screen.
Please don't hesitate to write back if you have any further questions, Federico and have a good day.
