Thanks for letting us assist you at TD Helps today, Corey! We'd be happy to explain more about our Bill Pay system for you.
Bill Payments made through TD Bank Bill Pay can be issued electronically or as a draft check, and actual processing is determined by the Biller. Bills paid electronically can be paid as soon as the next business day and will give you the option to choose the next business day on the calendar, while payments sent in check form will usually need several days for processing.
Kindly note that these types of payments will be deducted from your account as follows:
For bills paid by electronic transmission, typically we will withdraw the money from your account on the same day that you selected as the Pay Date for your bill.
For bills paid by check, we will mail a check to your Biller before your Pay Date, and the money is withdrawn from your account just like any other check – when the biller cashes the check.
At this time, we're unable to deduct either of these types of payments from your account balance prior to the payment occurring, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We'll be happy to pass along this feedback for you. We also invite you to take a look here for more information on our Bill Pay feature: http://bit.ly/1o0rwbX and for our Bill Pay FAQs, please visit here: http://bit.ly/1gWIrp7.
We'd be happy to answer any additional questions you might have. To review your bill payments or this service in further detail, please call a Tech Support Specialist directly at 800-493-7562 using Option 3, or feel free to stop by at any nearby TD Bank Store. A listing of our store locations can be found at: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Thanks again for stopping by, Corey and have a wonderful day!
