I llive in Canada, but have an account in Florida. My account is currently only registered in my name. Could I accept a wire transfer to my account that has my name and my wife's name on it?

Hi Reg! Thank you for reaching out to us about your expected wire transfer.
Wire transfer rules can be very specific. If the payee information on the wire transfer does not match the payee names on the receiving account, the wire transfer will most likely return back to the sender as undeliverable.
If the wire is being sent payable to both you and your wife, it is our recommendation that it be directed to an account with both of your names on it. If you're both currently in the United States and you'd like to have her added to your TD Bank account, it is a relatively quick process. We just ask that you both stop into a local TD Bank Store with photo ID and we'll have you both sign an updated signature card. You can find all of our Store hours and locations by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
We hope this helps. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores.
Enjoy the rest of your day, Reg!
