Hi Thomas, thanks for reaching out to us today through TD Helps. We'd be happy to confirm if your check has cleared your account yet.
There are multiple options that you can confirm if a check has been posted to your account. We'd like to go over the details with you.
One way to confirm if the check has cleared your account is to review your account activity and recent statements through your Online Banking Profile. If you've already registered for Online Banking, you can sign in here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq (or here for your BusinessDirect account: http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8). Once in, choose the account you wish to view and you'll instantly be taken to the Account History page. Here, you can chose to view "All Available History" from the "Show Transactions From" option. This will allow you to view up to the past 60 days of your account activity to confirm if the check has been presented for payment yet. If the check was written longer than 60 days ago, you can click on the green Statements tab on the top. You can view any of your past statements to confirm if the check was presented in one of your previous statement cycles.
Also, if you're having any trouble finding the information on your account history or statements, you could send us a Secure Message through the 'Message Center' on the left side after you've logged into your profile. Just include the information for the check you are looking for and a Banking Specialist will respond back within 24-48 hours to confirm if the check has been presented against your account.
If you haven't yet enrolled in Online Banking, you can enroll your account here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY (or here for BusinessDirect: http://bit.ly/1dl2HX6). Just have your Account Number, TD Bank VISA Debit Card Number and Social Security Number/Tax I.D. Number (TIN) available when you do.
You can also reach out to a Banking Specialist by phone at 888-751-9000. We're available 24/7 and, after authenticating your account, we would be happy review your account for the check in question.
If you prefer speaking with us in person about your check, you're more than welcome to step into a TD Bank Store near you during normal lobby hours. You can find the nearest Store and their lobby hours here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Together we can review your account activity and your past statements to confirm if the check has been presented yet.
We hope these options help Thomas. If you need anything else, you know where to reach us. Take care.
