I have a TD account, but I'm in Italy right now. I'd like to transfer some funds from my TD account to my Italian account, is that possible?

If you have a personal account with TD Bank, wiring funds to another bank would require visiting a Store in person. But there are other options to access your funds while in Italy. If you have a TD VISA Debit Card, you can withdraw funds from an ATM machine, or do a cash advance with a teller at a bank there in Italy. For ATM withdrawals, your debit card should come with a limit of $762.00 per day, but this can be increased. For cash advances, the standard VISA limit of $5,000.00 per day should apply.
If you have a checking account with us and have your check book with you, you can write yourself a check to deposit into your account in Italy. Please note, this method may take longer as the check would likely be sent out for collection. Because of this, we recommend using the debit card option if you have that available to you.
To have your ATM limit increased, you can send us a secure message through your online or mobile banking. To send a secure message, log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We can generally respond within 24 hours or less.
