I have been appointed both Executor and part beneficiary of my deceased parent's TD Bank IRA account. However, I reside in California, where my parent also resided before she passed. What steps are required to access the account?

As you mentioned that you're the Executor as well as a beneficiary for your parents, we ask that you contact the TD Store in which your parents opened their IRA account. If you're unsure of this information, we recommend reaching out to a TD Store directly. To take a look at more information in regards to our TD Stores please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you have any questions, we recommend reaching out to our IRA/HSA Department directly. Please dial 800-231-8193, Option 4 available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm EST, and Saturdays, 9:00 am - 1:30 pm EST.
If your parents had IRA accounts with TD Ameritrade, we recommend reaching out to them directly for assistance. You are able to contact them 24/7 by dialing 800-400-3603.
