Thank you for coming by TD Helps today, Robert! We're excited that you'd like to open an account with us and we'll be glad to show you how you may do so.
We'd like to start off by stating that a valid photo ID is needed to open a deposit account with us. With that being said, we recommend reaching out to the TD Bank that you plan to visit prior to determine if a NY EBT card is considered a valid photo ID. You may bring two secondary forms of IDs to any TD Bank to open your account if you do not have a primary ID (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D and Social Security number.) Please see the list of secondary IDs below:
-Employment ID with Photo and Signature
-US Birth Certificate
-US Passport Card with Photo
-Welfare ID with Photo
-State Issued Driver's License with Signature, no Photo
-Foreign Driver's License with Photo
-US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
-College ID with Photo
-Firearms Permit with Photo
-Alien Registration Card with Photo
-Permanent Resident Card with Photo
Additionally, we invite you to take a look at what accounts we currently offer by clicking here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 for a list of checking accounts and here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 for a list of our savings accounts. For a personalized recommendation for a checking account click here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM : which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
Once you've decided on the account(s) that you'd like to open, please stop by any TD Bank during lobby hours to open the account(s). Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
We hope this answers your question and enjoy the rest of your afternoon, Robert! Take care.
