Thank you for sending your question our way, Stu.
Many credit card issuers may allow you to get a Cash Advance from your card. To get more details about this process, including the Cash Advance available amount on your card, we first recommend reaching out to your card issuer to determine the availability. We also recommend confirming if any restrictions and/or fees may apply.
If your card issuer does allow this service, please know that you may visit any TD Bank Store for this request from any Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card up to $5000 per day per card. We apologize; however, we currently do not accept American Express Cards in our Stores for over the counter Cash Advances. American Express cardholders with a Personal Identification Number (PIN) can still process a Cash Advance by accessing one of our ATMs. For TD Store and ATM locations, please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
When visiting us, your physical card must be present to process an advance as well as having a valid photo ID with you (Driver's License, Passport, State-Issued ID, etc).
If you are a TD Visa Credit Card Customer, feel free to call our Credit Card Specialists 24/7 at 1-888-561-8861 to speak with one of our Specialists. After account verification they'd be more than happy to review your account with you and answer any questions you may have about Cash Advances.
TD Bank Customers can use their TD Debit card to obtain a Cash Advance at any Store location up to $5000 per card/per day. Please also know that the cash advance amount will be immediately deducted from TD Customer’s primary Checking account. Please note, in order to use this service, the funds must be available in your account.
Currently, there is no charge for this service if it is requested at a TD Bank Store location. To find TD Store locations and hours near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores. If it is requested at another financial institution, you may be charged a fee by them.
Please ensure you have the physical card present to process the cash advance. Additionally, there are pre-set daily limits when it comes to Cash Advances. For more details, please check out: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ, on pages 43 and 44.
If you are looking to inquire about our optional TD Debit Card Advance Service in order to avoid Debit Card declines, then we may authorize ATM transactions or one-time debit card purchases even if the funds are not available in your account at the time of the transaction. Please take a look at this page for more detailed info about this feature: http://bit.ly/1AlCYEy.
Please note that as this is a discretionary service, and a purchase or ATM withdrawal on your account may be declined even if you are enrolled in this feature.
We hope this helps, Stu. Have a nice day.
