I sent out an on line bill pay to Express Scripts. The check, according to TD Bank , was cut and mailed out on 4/16/15. According to TD Bank, this check was received by Express Scripts and presented to TD Bank for payment. A copy of this check was scanned and posted on the website for viewing. Looking at the check, there was no endorsement on the back, however TD Bank paid Express Scripts the check amount.
As of 5/3/15, I was notified by Express Scripts taht they had not received their payment and that I was past due.
I feel TD Bank should not have paid this check without an endorsement.

It is nice to have you here on TD Helps, John. We're sorry to hear about your experience and want to help.
As we'd like to assist you directly here, we are unable to do so because we do not have access to your account information as this is considered a public forum. With that being said, we recommend contacting one of our Banking Specialist 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Once our Banking Specialists verify your account information, they'll be able to provide the additional assistance that you need.
Please note; in the event where a Payee is claiming that a payment was not received by TD Bank an Affidavit of Forgery must be filed by the Payee. As this needs to be notarized, we recommend clicking here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you so you may sign this with a live representative. If you are unable to visit a TD Bank location, we are able to fax it to you upon request when you call the number provide above.
Let us know if you have any other questions and have a nice day.
