Thanks for getting in touch with us today, MC!
From your message, it sounds as though you may already be using our Person-to-Person Transfer service. If, not we'd like to introduce you to this feature. For more information, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1h4ZIkL. Although the service is not free, the fee we charge is nominal and more information can be found on our current Fee Schedule at: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you're interested in using this feature, you’ll need to be logged in to your Online Banking on our website. Please follow this link which will bring you directly to the log in page: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq.
Once you’re logged in, you must enroll for Person-to-Person payments. To do so, you would select the tab that says “Person-to-Person Payments” at the top of your online banking screen. Then, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email address and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. Next we will ask you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process.
Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to request money by clicking on "Send Money" and entering the requested information. You will need the recipient's email or mobile number, or their account information. If you choose to send the funds using an email or mobile number, the recipient will get a link to accept the transfer. Otherwise, the funds will be directly deposited. Once the request is processed, you should expect that the funds will be deposited into her account in the next three business days.
This feature is available for most personal checking and money markets accounts. To use these services you must have an Online Banking profile with a U.S. address, a unique U.S. phone number, an active unique e-mail address, and a Social Security number. Your eligible personal deposit account must be active and enabled for ACH transactions and Online Banking transfers. Please note, there are limits in place for your protection. For more information, read the Terms & Conditions at http://bit.ly/1pADlWD.
Otherwise, to deposit the funds to your landlord's account you're always welcome to visit us any TD Bank Store location to make the deposit. Please see http://bit.ly/TDStores for our locations nearby you.
Hope this helps, MC and let us know if you have other questions!
