Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Zach. We'd be happy to clarify our phone transfers with you.
In order to make a transfer over the phone, your grandmother would need to have an account with TD Bank and be an authorized signer on your account. If your grandmother does not meet these requirements, don't worry! We have other options available that would allow your grandmother to make a deposit to your account.
Transferring funds is easier than it has ever been before with our new feature called the "Person-to-Person" transfer, which allows you to send and receive funds via your Online Banking. This feature allows for transfers between TD Bank accounts and it also allows you to send money domestically to any account inside and outside TD Bank without having to visit a Store. Also, you will be able to send money via text, email or by creating a contact and even set it up as a recurrent transfer. We invite you to check out http://bit.ly/1cz3aimfor all of the exciting details and here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to view our Fee Schedule for any applicable fees that may be associated. To use this feature, you will need to be logged in to Online Banking from the main website.
Once the enrollment is complete, you’ll be ready to send the payment which the other person will receive in one business day or three business days as per your selection. After you've completed these steps you may request funds from your grandmother via POP Money.
If you need any assistance or have questions, feel free to contact us 24/7 at 800-493-7562 to speak with our Tech Support Specialists. After account verification, we would be happy to assist.
We hope this helps, Zach and have a good day.
