Hi, Rick and thanks for joining us on TD Helps today!
If you prefer to have an ATM-only card rather than a Visa Debit card for your account, you are more than welcome to do so if you have a checking, savings or money market account. Once you have the card, if you prefer to use it for deposits only, we can change the withdrawal limits associated with the card to zero. In that case, the withdrawal features on the card won't be able to be used.
If you're near a TD Bank Store, we'd be more than happy to make you a new card on the spot! Feel free to check out http://bit.ly/TDStores for a listing of hours and locations near you. Please ask your Representative to assist you in setting the limits you would prefer.
Or if you like, you may also contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and upon account verification we'll be able to mail you a new card. You should expect to receive your card within 7-10 business days.
If you have TD Bank Online Banking you also have the option of sending us a Secure Message to request a new card. If you have not enrolled, you can do so by following this link: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, Social Security number, your email address and your current TD ATM/Debit card. If you do not currently have a card, we ask that you give us a call 24/7 at the number provided above to speak with our Banking Specialists. After you've successfully enrolled and logged in, to send a secure message, please select the "Customer Service" tab and under the "Message Center" please click on the "Send a Message" link. For this particular request, please select "General Customer Service" for the subject line. In the "Comments/Requests" field, please type in your request.
Kindly note that if you request a card either by phone or via secure message, please connect with us again after obtaining the card to request that your card limits be changed.
We hope you find this helpful, Rick and have a great one!
