Thank you for reaching out to us on TD Helps this afternoon, Kawshar! We'll be sure to provide some useful information for you regarding your business account opening question.
We'd like to begin by stating that business accounts must be opened in person at any TD Bank Store during lobby hours. Take a look below for some information on opening a business account with us.
Take a look here: http://bit.ly/1lWgAhe to view the types of business account we currently offer. You could even receive a personalized selection based on your business needs by using our Business Checking Selector tool: http://bit.ly/1lGeYmw. If you should have any questions, feel free to reach out to our Business Banking Specialists at 855-278-8988. Since you're outside the US right now, if you'd like to call, please call on 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518 and we can connect you.
Once you've decided on the right account for your needs, if you'll be in the US you (and your business partners) can stop by your local TD Bank for assistance. Although is not necessary, we recommend contacting us 24/7 using the numbers above if you'd like to schedule an appointment. You could also click here: http://bit.ly/SWDqsn to fill in a form to request a call from a Small Business Banking Specialist. For information on our lobby hours and locations please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Keep in mind you will need to bring the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number. For a non-resident aliens opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID including a non-US Passport and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Also, be sure to bring the Tax Identification Number for your business. Other documents may also be needed depending on the type of business you have, and we recommend discussing this with a Specialist prior to your Store visit.
We hope this information helps and come by any time you have a question, Kawshar! Take care and have a wonderful afternoon.
