Good evening, Foyshal! Great question, we'd be happy to go over the alerts features that we offer.
TD Bank offers email alerts for your account that can be set up via Online Banking. Although we don't offer alerts for specific transactions right now, one of the alerts you can set up is a balance alert. We also offer this feature for statements and secured messages; you can also receive an alert for either of these when they become available.
You can view more information on how to set these alerts by logging into your Online Banking and clicking the “Alerts” tab. After clicking the "Alerts" tab you will then choose "Set up a new Alert." Online Banking will then ask you to specify what type of alert you are creating and once you do, please select "Continue." You will then be asked to select the account you'd like the alert for, the type of alert and then follow any additional prompts. By selecting "Finish," your alert will be saved.
Keep in mind that these alerts are sent via email and will only be directed to your cellular device if you have your email attached to your phone. And although we don't offer text alerts at this time, we invite you to stay tuned and check in for updates at www.tdbank.com.
If you have any troubles setting up an alert, you can contact one of our Tech Support Specialists directly 24/7 at 800-493-7562. They would be more than happy to walk you through the process.
We hope this provides some guidance, Foyshal! Thanks again for visiting and let us know about any questions.
