We are happy to inform you that you are able to transfer funds from your TD Bank account to another Financial Institution within the US. If you are looking to transfer funds into an account you own at a different Financial Institution, you would use our External Transfer feature. If you are sending funds to a family member or friend who banks with TD or a different Financial Institution, you would use our Person-to-Person payment feature. You can initiate this transfer all at the comfort of your own home via your TD Online Banking!

To initiate an External Transfer, after you log in here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq, please select the "Transfer" tab and click on the "Transfer to Accounts Outside TD Bank". You will need to input the account information you have located with another institution by clicking on the "Add a New Account" link.
To initiate a Person-to-Person payment, please locate the "Person-to-Person Payments" tab. To add contacts to your list, please click on the "Contacts" link located beneath the "PopMoney" word. Please note, in order to be eligible to use the Person-to-Person payment service, you must have a United States address, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security number and a valid unique email address.

If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking and wish to enroll for your personal accounts, you may use our self-service option by visiting: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security Number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
If you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you have questions regarding online transfers, you may contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist. If External Transfer or Person-to-Person Payment is not an option for you, or you have a TD Business Checking account, you may wish to visit your local TD Bank store to initiate a domestic outgoing wire transfer. Once at the Store, you will need to provide the name, address and routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
If you happen to have a Business account with TD Bank and you are currently utilizing TD BusinessDirect, you have the option of scheduling transfers from your BusinessDirect account via Wire transfers. Wire transfers can be accessed through the "Wires" tab. The enrollment for wire services is very similar to that of the ACH enrollment. By selecting "click here," via the Wires tab you will have to answer 3 questions similar to that of the ACH enrollment. You will also receive a similar confirmation telephone call.
