Welcome to TD Helps this morning, Bonnie.
This is a fantastic question, and we'll be happy to clear up any confusion.
Generally speaking, Money Market accounts have the features and benefits of a Savings account, such as tiered interest rates and Savings Overdraft Protection; however, are technically considered Checking accounts as checks are able to be written directly from the account.
If you'd like to learn more about the features and benefits that come with a Money Market account, you're welcome to check out the link here: https://go.td.com/2bSlEUh, or if you have any questions or concerns, our Banking Specialists are here to help! Simply dial 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a Specialist, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Should you wish to open a Money Market account, you're welcome to use the link above to get started by clicking on the orange 'Open Account' button, or you may also call the number above to speak with a Specialist about opening your new account. If these methods aren't convenient for you, you're always welcome to visit your nearest TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. We hope this answers all your questions, Bonnie!
Thanks again for stopping by, and take care!
