I am the personal rep to my mothers will now in probate & must open a bank account with a tax ID #. Some banks aren't authorized to carry these accounts. Is TD Bank authorized?

We appreciate you stopping by TD Helps with your question today, Janis. We're sorry to hear about your loss and understand the importance of getting this taken care of quickly and easily.
We are glad to inform you that we do offer Estate accounts at TD Bank. A Tax Identification Number (TIN) for the Estate Account is preferred.
To set up the Estate Account, as the Administrator/Executor, you would need to provide your photo identification and documentation, the documents required will vary depending on the State in which your mother passed away, please contact the local TD Bank in that State for more information. For hours, locations, and Store contact number, please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Janis. Feel free to reach back out to us if anything else and have a great day.
