Thanks for joining us here at TD Helps, Eileen. We'd be happy to help provide some information.
You'll be happy to know that our TD Credit Cards now do come with chip & signature technology. To take a look and compare our Credit Cards please visit http://bit.ly/1qRnByN. If you're looking to apply for one, you may do so by selecting "Apply Now" beneath the Credit Card that best suits you. If you'd like to speak with a Specialist directly, you may contact our Credit Card Specialists 24/7 by dialing 888-561-8861 and they will be happy to assist. As always, you are able to stop in any TD Store near you during lobby hours to apply. To take a look at our Store locations and their hours please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you are inquiring about our TD Visa debit cards, please know that although TD Bank currently does not offer this type of technology for these cards, we would like to point out that your Visa debit card can be used anywhere Visa is accepted. Please note however that fees may be assessed for using Non-TD ATMs. Take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to view our current Personal Fee Schedule. We also do recommend carrying more than one method of payment while you travel just in case. Feel free to check out: http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu for some travel tips that you may find useful. You may also want to review our frequently asked questions by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1ltwDDc.
We'd also like to let you know that we are committed to providing financial solutions that meet those needs as they arise. We encourage you to stay tuned for updates, and you're welcome to check in at www.tdbank.com to do so.
If you will be traveling, for the most effective use of your card we recommend contacting us prior to your trip to provide your travel dates and destinations. If you plan to travel while away using subways, buses, through toll booths, etc. try to purchase your tickets in advance. We also suggest bringing local currency just in case it is needed. And if your card is not accepted and you do not have local currency, we advise that you find an attendant who can help direct you toward an acceptable payment method.
Additionally, we appreciate your attention to your account security and understand your concerns. TD Bank offers Customers multiple layers of security protection against fraud, and has tools in place to monitor for suspicious activity. We monitor cards for unusual activity 24 hours a day/seven days a week and will reach out to you if fraud is suspected. For additional safety, we encourage you to visit: http://bit.ly/1npPddy for tips to protect your accounts.
If you have any questions, you're always welcome to see us at any TD Bank Store, or connect with us 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Our Store locations nearest you can be found at http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Should you have to reach us while you're travelling, you may do so 24/7 at 856-751-9000 or via collect with Operator's assistance from a non- mobile phone at 00+1-215-569-0518.
We hope this helps and please let us know if you have any other questions.
