If you would like to send a wire, you must request the wiring instructions from the financial institution in which you are sending the funds. Then you may visit your nearest TD Bank Store to send a wire. For TD Bank Stores near you, please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you'd like to transfer funds from your TD Bank account to another account of yours with another financial institution, you may use the External Transfer feature via your Online Banking. To use this feature you must be enrolled in Online Banking. If you have an ATM/ Visa Debit card you may fill out the online application to access your personal account(s). Please visit http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to enroll for TD Bank Online Banking. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box. Signing up for TD Bank Online is quick and easy – allowing you to view your accounts in just three simple steps! First, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
Once you've logged in, to send an external transfer, please select the "Transfer" tab and click on the "Transfer to Accounts Outside TD Bank." You will need to input the account information you have located with another institution by clicking on the "Add a New Account" link.
If you are looking to transfer funds from your TD Account to family or friend, you may use the Person-to-Person feature. This feature is located under the "Person-to-Person Payments" tab via your Online Banking. To add contacts to your list, please click on the "Contacts" link located beneath the "PopMoney" word.
