Thanks for reaching us on TD Helps, Clarence. We'd be glad to discuss with you.
Based on your question, it sounds as though you're referring to overdraft services. At TD Bank we offer a variety of services that you may find useful.
One form of overdraft protection is the option to link a savings account with TD to your TD checking account. In the event of an overdraft, as long as there are sufficient funds in your savings account, a transfer will be made to your checking to cover the amount of the overdraft. For more specific information, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1lmjVaq.
You are able to request this option by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting a TD Store. To take a look at TD Stores and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you do not have a savings Account, please take a moment to review the different types of savings accounts TD Bank offers here: http://bit.ly/1qFEY8j or feel free to check out our Savings Selector Tool for a customized recommendation: http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF. Once you've decided on the account type you'd like to open, you are able to do so online by selecting "Open Account," by calling us using the number mentioned above or by visiting a TD Store.
Please know regardless of the method you choose, you will need a Social Security Number and a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.).
Similarly, you are able to apply for TD Moneyline Overdraft Protection. For more specific information on this type of overdraft protection take a look here: http://bit.ly/J7b4XR. You can apply online by following the link, by giving us a call 24/7 at 800-937-5020 to speak with a Financial Services Group Specialist or by visiting any TD Store.
We also offer a feature with our Debit Cards known as TD Debit Card Advance. To lean more please visit here: http://bit.ly/1voNBCy.
Please know that if you are not currently enrolled in any type of overdraft services and a transaction is presented to your account that has the potential to overdraw your account, TD may pay this item at our digression. To learn more about overdrafts please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (pages 9-10).
If this is the case, we ask that you contact us directly to determine if the item will be paid or returned as well as result in fees. You are able to reach out to us directly by calling us 24/7 by dialing the number mentioned above or visiting any TD Store during lobby hours.
We hope this helps, Clarence and have a good day.
