Thank you for reaching out to us on TD Helps today, Yoseline. We'd hate to see you go but will be happy to provide you with some helpful information.
Before you go, we'd like to let you know that we are committed to your satisfaction as a Customer. We have many options to keep your banking convenient for you and we'd be glad to discuss your experience and needs with us at a TD Store. We would like to hear from you - please find your closest Store and lobby hours here: http://bit.ly/TDStores or, reach us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Since you asked, we'd like to let you know that there is no fee at this time to close an account. If you still choose to close your account and it has a remaining balance, we'd recommend visiting any TD Bank Store near you to withdraw the funds and request that the account be closed. Please visit the above link to find a convenient location for you.
If your balance is zero, you may also reach us at the number just mentioned, or send a Secure Message via your Online Banking account to request that the account be closed. You can log in at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and click the Customer Service tab. You'll find a link to Send a Message there, where you can enter your request. Please be sure to specify the account number you wish to close if you choose this method. By phone or secure message, please allow 2-3 business days for your account closing request to be completed.
For any questions you may have, feel free to connect with us 24/7 at the number above, or at any TD Bank Store nearby you.
We hope this answers your question, Yoesline. Enjoy the rest of your week!
