Good evening and welcome to TD Helps, Gilda! We'll be glad to answer any questions you may have regarding our checking accounts.
Some of our checking account accounts do require a daily minimum balance to avoid a monthly maintenance fee. You'll be able to determine what type of account you have with a few options we listed here for you.
First, if you're signed up for Online Banking, you may log in to view your account type. It'll be listed under the "Accounts" tab. If you're not enrolled yet, you may do so by clicking here http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, ATM/Debit card number and Social Security number to get started.
Another option to view your account type is on your statements. If you have any statements available, you may look at the top left of the page (right below your name and address) to view this information. You can then compare it to the information listed here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF by locating the account type and determining the balance requirement.
