Thanks for joining us here on TD Helps Tom.
At TD Bank, we offer many different types of Checking accounts and some accounts do require a daily minimum balance to avoid a monthly maintenance fee and some accounts may not. To view and compare our personal Checking accounts, please visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT for more detailed information on each particular Savings Account available at TD Bank.
After reviewing the information provided, if you are not a TD Customer and is interested in opening an account with TD Bank, we recommend taking a look here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for our Checking Selector Tool or here: http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd for our Savings Selector Tool. With our Tools, you can get a customized recommendation on which accounts may be best for you. Once you've decided on which account is best for you, you can open the account via the internet by clicking on the "Open Account" box which will be listed at the bottom of each account details. To get started, you'll need the following: Your Social Security number and ID (driver's license, State ID, or Passport). To make a first deposit online, you may use a debit card linked to an account from another financial institution, a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or you can stop by your local TD Store to make a deposit.
You may also visit us at any TD Store to open the account. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank Store near you.
If you prefer to open it over the phone, please call Customer Service at 1-888-751-9000, available 24/7, and we will be happy to help you open the account. Once the account is opened, you will have 30 business days to make your first deposit.
If you are already a TD Customer and need additional clarification on the fees or have any questions regarding your personal account, please contact us 24/7 at the number listed above or feel free to visit us during lobby hours to speak with a Customer Service Representative.
If this is not the question you were asking, our apologies, we ask that you resubmit your inquiry with more details and we would be more than happy to help.
Have a great day!
