Hey Robert, thanks for writing in today. We currently are not partnered with any financial institutions overseas, however; we are happy to provide options on how you can obtain cash while on your travels. You can withdrawal funds from an ATM located internationally. Before you do, please make sure that the ATM machine displays either the VISA or PLUS logo. If you are unable to find an ATM that is compatible, with the TD Bank Debit Card, it may be used to obtain a VISA Cash Advance. Please note, non-TD ATM fees still may apply. For more information on the Fee Schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. Before traveling, we do recommend placing a Travel Notification on your checking and/or savings account. To place a travel notification, if you are still in the US, you can call our Customer Service Line 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting your local TD Bank Store. For a listing of TD Bank Stores and hours check http://bit.ly/TDStores. If you are setup for online banking, another option would be to send a secured message using www.tdbank.com and request the Travel Notifications be added to your account. To send a secured message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq . On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. Please include your travel destination(s) and travel dates. If you are not enrolled for online banking, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, his account number, and his e-mail address. Once you have successfully enrolled, you will have immediate access to your account(s). However; if you are already in Italy, you may contact us at (856)-751-9000. Additionally, you can call collect from a landline at (215)-569-0518. Additionally, we also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues. For more travel tips while overseas, please visit http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu. We hope this helps. Enjoy your trip and have a great night!
