I am interested in opening a savings account, is there an option with no fee? I am a full time college student and work a part time once or twice a week. I probably will not have the minimum balance in that account at all times but I do not want to be charged. Is there a option of college students?

If you are a full-time student and is under the age of 24, you may be eligible to open a Student Checking Account with TD Bank. To qualify, you must have proof of enrollment (Student ID or a Tuition Payment Receipt). Also, with the Student Checking Account, no minimum deposit is needed to open the Account. Once you've decided on which account is best for you, you can open the account via the internet by clicking on the "Open Account" box which will be listed at the bottom of each account details. To get started, you'll need the following: Your Social Security number and ID (driver's license, State ID, or Passport). To make a first deposit online, you may use a debit card linked to an account from another financial institution, a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or you can stop by your local TD Store to make a deposit.

If you prefer to open it over the phone, please call Customer Service at 1-888-751-9000, available 24/7, and we will be happy to help you open the account. Once the account is opened, you will have 30 business days to make your first deposit.
