Welcome to TD Helps Megan! Thanks for dropping by. We would be happy to answer your question regarding your Online Banking user name.
To change your User Name, you have the option of using the self-service feature via your Online Banking. Please follow this link to log into your Online Banking, http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Once you've entered your current User Name and password, please go to the "Customer Service" tab and click on the "Change User Name" link (it is the first link under Self Service Title). You will then be asked to enter your new user name and please re-enter to confirm and then select "Submit".
Here are some helpful hints that may help when creating your new user name:
-Must consist of 6 to 32 letters and numbers, with no spaces.
-Must contain at least one letter and one number.
-Can contain any of these special characters / \ ( ) % - ; | # + = @ . _
-Stay away from using easy to get information (mother’s maiden name, birth date, etc.).
-Select a User Name that is not similar to your password.
If you do not remember your User Name to use the self-service feature, that's okay! We have other options for you! You can call us directly 24/7 at 1-800-493-7562. After account verification, our Digital Banking Specialist will be more than happy to help you. You also have the option of visiting us, during lobby hours, at any local TD Store. For the hours and locations near you, take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Hope this helps Megan. Have a great one and please do not hesitate to write back if you have any further questions.
