Thanks for your interest in opening a joint account, Laura! We'd be happy to help!
You're more than welcome to open a joint account with us. Joint accounts can be opened in person at any TD Bank location. Please keep in mind that all account holders must be present for the account opening process.
When you visit, each account signer will need their Social Security number and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport.
We encourage you to review our Checking Accounts here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF, or use our Checking Account Selector at http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU to find an account which suits both of your needs.
Check out http://bit.ly/SavingsCmpre for Savings account details and comparisons, and our Savings Account Selector Tool at http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF for a personalized account recommendation.
If you prefer, you may choose to open the account by yourself. Then, you both can always visit your nearest TD Bank during lobby hours to add the joint owner. In this case, you're welcome to begin the account online at the links above, or you can give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and a friendly Specialist can help you.
When you're ready to visit a Store, you'll be happy to know that we offer convenient Store hours and locations. Please look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for a listing in your area.
We hope this helps, Laura and have a good day!
