I have established a revocable trust and my account should be in the name of that trust rather than my name. Do I need to establish new accounts or can I simply re-title the accounts?

Thank you for contacting us on TD Helps, James. At this time we would like to inform you that account titling occurs when the account is being opened. After the account is active you may add other signers to your account however the account title itself may not be altered. In order to establish the title you desire with the account type, a new account would have to be established. For additional information regarding your concern, we recommend visiting your local TD Bank. Check out local Store hours by clicking here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Hope this helps answer your question and have a nice day!
