It’s a pleasure to see you here at TD Helps today, thank you for stopping by Vicki!
You are able to make a cash deposit into someone's account, as long as you have their full name and some identifying account information that we may use to look that Customer up. Also, any cash deposited into a TD Bank account should be available immediately at the time of deposit.
As far as taking the money from an existing credit card, some credit card issuers may allow you to make a cash advance from the card, providing you with cash to deposit. To get more details about this process, we recommend that you reach out to your card issuer to determine if they allow this and if your card is setup to allow these types of cash advances. We also recommend confirming if any restrictions and/or fees may apply.
If your credit card does allow cash advances, and you have established a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for your card with your institution, you should be able to process a cash advance at any one of our ATM locations. An ATM usage fee of $3.00 may apply for this service and please know that this fee may be subject to change.
Also, if your card issuer does allow this service, and you intend to make a larger cash advance, then please know at any TD Bank Store location we can process cash advances from any Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card up to $5000 per day per card. We apologize but we currently do not accept American Express Cards in our Stores for larger over-the-counter Cash Advances.
With either of these processes your physical card must be present to process an advance as well as having a valid photo ID with you (Driver's License, Passport, State-Issued ID, etc).

We hope this helps Vicki, have an awesome day!
