Hi Donna, thanks for connecting with us today. TD Helps is glad to assist with any Credit Card questions you may have.
We notice you're reaching out to us from Canada and just want to confirm that you've reached TD Bank in the United States. We'd be glad to go over Credit Card information for you but please know that you must be a US resident to apply for a card with us.
We currently offer several different types of Credit Cards here in the US. Please check out this link to view and compare the cards to determine which may be most convenient for you: http://bit.ly/UpkJy4. When applying, it's a good idea to have an understanding of your credit report and credit score and we've gathered some information you may find beneficial here: http://bit.ly/1jOWoe7. We've also collected some tips on building your credit score that you may find helpful here: http://bit.ly/1nUzsyy
If you're ready to apply, you can do so several ways. You can reach out to us by phone anytime 24/7 at 888-561-8861 and a Card Services Specialist would be happy to complete an application right over the phone for you. Or, if you're in the US then you could stop by one of our TD Bank Stores and complete the application in person. You can find the nearest Store location here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Lastly, you could always print our application form out and mail or fax it into us to apply. You can find the application form here: http://bit.ly/1rrPVGd.
Please know that if you have limited credit information available in the US, then we may use your Canadian credit file to help us when reviewing your application. Once we receive and process your application, you should expect to receive a decision via mail within 7-10 business days after it is submitted. Currently, we are not offering any special promotional offers to open a Cross-Border Credit Card at this time; all of our cards do however offer rewards or cash-back offers (based on which type of card that you open with us).
If you have any additional questions about our Credit Cards or your application, please feel free to contact a Specialist 24/7 at the number above. You can also review our Personal Credit Card Agreement here if you'd like: http://bit.ly/1klVfbF.
And just to remind you – our partners up north at TD Canada Trust also offer a US Dollar VISA Credit Card that you can apply for if you're a Canadian resident. You can find information about applying for that card and any promotional offers currently being offered here: http://bit.ly/1aMwdDN. If you have any further questions, we recommend reaching out to a TDCT Credit Card Specialist at 800-983-8472. You can contact a Specialist at this number 24/7 or please feel free to submit a question through our TD Helps page with our partners up north through this link: http://bit.ly/1kD3iFr.
We hope this information helps Donna. Please don't hesitate to connect with us again if you have any more questions. Take care!
