Welcome to TD Helps, Qing. We'd be happy to help you make a transfer!
TD Bank US is affiliated with TD Canada Trust, and as it sounds like you're a Customer of both banks, you're welcome to take advantage of our convenient Cross Border Banking options. For more information, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1ienPN4.
Using this service, you'll be able to transfer funds between your TD Bank US and TD Canada Trust personal accounts free of charge. If you wish to, please feel free to speak with a Representative from our TD Cross Border Banking Support Line 24/7 at 877-700-2913, who can answer any questions you have, and help you complete the transfer.
Keep in mind that if you are not a TD Canada Trust account holder, to initiate an international wire transfer from your account, you will need to visit a TD Store during lobby hours for assistance. For hours and locations near you please take a look at: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
To send an international wire all you need is:
· The full name, address, including city, state/province, country and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
· The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the financial institution receiving the funds
· The amount and currency of the transfer
Keep in mind that depending on the currency you are sending, some transactions may take longer than others. You may want to contact the other financial institution to determine what information they require to receive the wire. Our friends on the Canadian TD Helps Team are always available to help with wire instructions that you may need too! Take a look here http://bit.ly/1CTJxzp for information you may need to include for your transfer.
If you are sending an international wire, there may be fees applied if you are not a TD Canada Trust account holder. For our fee schedule follow this link: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. We would also recommend checking with the other financial institution to ensure no other additional information is required as well as to obtain information regarding any additional fees for their services. And please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.
If you have any further questions, Qing, feel free to stop by TD Helps again!
