Hi Gene, it'll be our pleasure to provide you with more information on making a deposit outside of the TD Bank footprint.
If you're looking to deposit a check while you're in Las Vegas and you've been a TD Customer for more than 90 days, you use Online Banking and have an iPhone or Android device you may use our Mobile Deposit feature to make that deposit from anywhere!
If you are not currently enrolled for our Online Banking service, you must first be enrolled. You can do so by visiting here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, your TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your account number and your email address. If you do not have the pieces of information required to enroll, you can contact us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 and we will be happy to help you do so.
After you are enrolled, you can download the app by visiting http://bit.ly/1opBqUt. The user name and password that Mobile Banking will ask you for is the same as the one you've created for Online Banking. We invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1e3jiYF and http://bit.ly/1t2rx4L for more information such as Mobile Deposit limits along with the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for TD Bank Mobile Deposit.
You're also welcome to mail in your check deposit to the following address:
TD Bank, N.A., ME2-001-033, P.O. Box Number 1190, Lewiston, Maine 04243
The P.O. Box is checked daily and transactions are posted the same day.
If you need to FedEx or UPS a mail-in deposit to us, you can ship it to the address below:
TD Bank, Bank by Mail, 140 Mill Street, Lewiston, ME 04243
Also keep in mind that the TD Bank is not responsible for items lost in mail. Here are some additional tips to consider prior to mailing your deposit:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted "for deposit only")
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write the account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
Additionally, you may make cash deposits at ATMs in the Las Vegas area that are listed as a NYCE shared deposit machine, even if they are non-TD Bank ATMs. Keep in mind that any deposits made at a non-TD ATM will take longer to clear your account and can take up to 5 to 7 business days. If any questions arise regarding the deposit you will have to contact the Financial Institution where the deposit was made. For more information on how long deposits take to apply to your account please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (pages 38-41). TD Bank does not charge a fee for this type of transaction; however the institution that owns the ATM may charge a fee for this service, and it is recommended to check with that bank.
We hope this helps and enjoy your time in Las Vegas!
