I'm using my US TD credit card VISA to purchase airline ticket in US dollars on www.philippineairlines.com. Does TD bank charge foreign transaction fee in this case?

Good morning, Rosemary! Thanks for writing in.
Several of our credit cards offer $0 foreign transaction fees. You can review our different credit cards here: https://go.td.com/1XHj0Dq to see if the card you hold with us is one of those with that bonus feature.
For better confirmation that this charge will not incur any foreign transaction fees, we recommend calling our 24/7 Credit Card Customer Service Team at 888-561-8861. Specialists can review this purchase with you and confirm whether or not any fee may apply. You're also welcome to visit us at one of our Stores to speak with a Customer Service Representative about this charge. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
If this purchase is for a trip you will eventually be taking, please know that we recommend placing a travel notification one week in advance. Learn more here: https://go.td.com/2rnUqKs and especially take a look at the "Why should I inform TD Bank that I am traveling overseas?" link. It has valuable info and contact information for you to use.
We hope you enjoy your trip to the Philippines! Have a good weekend, Rosemary.
