Thanks for your question, Lori. We'd be glad to clarify.
Generally, when an account remains overdrawn for 60 calendar days, or a timeframe that TD Bank determines that the overdraft balance is uncollectible, we will close and place the account in collections.
For more information, we recommend taking a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: https://go.td.com/1kb17UQ. On pages 10-11 you're able to review this information in greater detail.
If you have any questions about this, we recommend reaching out to us directly for further clarification. To do so, you are able to contact us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or by visiting a TD Store during lobby hours. Please know that we would like to assist you directly however, TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum and we do not have access to your account/personal information.
If this is in regard to your TD Canada Trust account, we recommend reaching out to them directly for clarification. To take a look at their contact options please visit here: https://go.td.com/1woOVay.
