Good afternoon, Amy, and welcome to TD Helps!
We're so sorry to hear that you have duplicate transactions appearing on your account, and based on the information you have provided, it sounds as if these transactions are duplicate holds.
Duplicate holds, such as the ones you have mentioned, are most often due to the merchant's machine being unable to read your card, or an error is transmitted when your card is swiped, therefore the card is swiped a second time and two authorizations are transmitted to us. In most instances, we are able to have these duplicate holds removed from your account, and we invite you to connect with us directly so that we may assist you.
Our Banking Specialists are always happy to help, and can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-888-751-9000. You may also visit your nearest TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We look forward to hearing from you soon, Amy. Enjoy the rest of your day.
