My wife and I have joint checking and savings accounts at TD. I registered and have access to online banking. Does my wife also need to register to have access to online banking or can she just use my login ID and password? (As I am much older than her, I am concerned as to what may happen if I died.) Thank you.

Thanks for joining us on TD Helps this morning, Wilfredo!
We understand your concerns, and will be more than happy to help.
Here at TD Bank, online banking access is based on the account signer, and not the account number. Because of this, each individual signer is able to obtain a user name that is unique to them, and as we never recommend sharing your online banking credentials with anyone, your wife may wish to enroll to have access to your shared account using her own online banking.
If she'd like, she's welcome to use the link here: https://go.td.com/1lU2qfY to enroll. To successfully enroll, she'll need her account number, debit card number, a valid email address, and her Social Security Number. In the event that she doesn't have any of this information, or if she'd prefer to have assistance with enrolling, she's more than welcome to connect with us, and we'll be happy to help!
Banking Specialists can be reached by dialing 1-888-751-9000, and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Similarly, Customer Service Representatives can also help at any number of our Store locations, during lobby hours. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We sincerely hope this helps, Wilfredo, and please let us know if we can answer any additional questions or concerns you may have.
Enjoy your weekend!
