My husband and I both signed the back of our tax refund and my husband received notice that TD could not allow this check to be deposited (actually it was deposited and then TD withdrew the amount but we have no idea where the check is). How can I find out where the check is. My husband is the only name on the account and I will gladly go to the bank with my ID to show that I endorsed the joint check, This is just crazy...

Thank you for coming to TD Helps with your question, Jean.
In order to have a government official check deposited into your husband's account, you would have to go into the TD Bank location to be added on as a signer as state, government, or insurance checks cannot be endorsed over. Since you mentioned the check has been returned, the check will be sent to the address we have on file for your husband's account.
If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and a Banking Specialist will be more than happy to assist you. You also have the option of visiting a TD Bank location, check out http://bit.ly/TDStores for more information.
Let us know if this helps and take care.
