Thank you for coming by TD Helps this afternoon, Katlyn! We're glad that you've decided to bank with us and we'll be sure to share some information with you today.
You are more than welcome to set up your direct deposit into your new account and it would be considered your initial deposit. Take a look here: http://bit.ly/1hLQ1cP to print out our Direct Deposit Authorization form. You can view and print our already prepared form. Once you print it, just fill in your personal information and hand the completed form to your employer and they'll do the rest!
Please note that you'll need your routing and full account number to set up your direct deposit. If you should need assistance finding this information, please visit your local TD Bank during lobby hours. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
We hope this answers your question and enjoy the rest of your afternoon, Katlyn!
