Hi Regine and we'd pleased to have you join us on TD Helps.
We'd like to take the opportunity to let you know that you may only fund your new account online during the new account opening process by using a debit or credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
According to the message we received from you, it sounds like you have already opened your new account. To fund your new account after it has been established, you may make a deposit by visiting your local TD Bank Store. To find a TD Bank Store near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. You may deposit cash or check while you're at the Store. If you prefer, you may make a cash withdrawal at our ATM using your Debit Card and then deposit cash into your new TD Bank account.
We would like to take this opportunity to let you know that cash deposits (made at the Bank’s teller station or the Bank’s ATM) are available on the same day they are deposited. When making check deposits with a Teller, the first $100.00 is made available immediately. If you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, Check Deposits can be held up to 7 business days for verification purposes. After this grace period, not only will the first $100.00 be made available at the time of deposit but the rest of the funds will credit to your account the following business day. Please note that there are other exceptions that may cause delays in funds availability, we invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. Starting on page 39 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits. If you have any other questions or concerns in regards to funding your new account, please feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Thanks for choosing TD Bank for your banking needs, Regine. Have a marvelous day!
