I am trying to open a checking account online and when i provide my last name, i get the error "You have entered digits exceeding the length. Please re-enter information.". How can i open the account with a longer name?

They will be happy to further assist you with your concerns, and can even open a new account for you directly over the phone!

Please note when starting a new account application, you'll need your Social Security number and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport.
