I'm relocating to Edmonton, Alberta, and need an account that will allow me to transfer funds from an account in Canada to the US. Can I link a TD Bank account in Canada to a TD Bank account in the US?

Welcome to TD Helps, Wanda! This sounds like a big transition and we'd be happy to help you ensure things go smoothly.
When you bank with both TD Bank and TD Canada Trust, we offer Cross Border Banking to our mutual Customers! We invite you to take a look at the products and services we offer to our Cross Border Banking Customers here: https://go.td.com/1ienPN4.
If you don't already bank with TD, you are able to open an account by following the link mentioned above, calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting a TD Store. You can review TD Stores you'd like to visit here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
There are a lot of accounts on the US side of TD to choose from! You can receive a custom recommendation by using our Account Selector here: https://go.td.com/2sx4N2E.
Keep in mind that for the account opening, you will need a Social Security Number and a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.).
In regard to opening an account with TD Canada Trust, we recommend reaching out to them directly. You can connect with the Canadian TD Helps Team here: https://go.td.com/1QBOF4U. Once you submit a question to our affiliates we're sure they'll provide everything you need to open an account in Canada. You are also able to connect with a Specialist directly by choosing a contact method here: https://go.td.com/1woOVay.
After your accounts are established, you'll be able to call us 24/7 at 800-799-2913 to initiate a wire between TD Bank and TD Canada Trust free of charge!
We hope this information clears things up, Wanda. Thank you for considering TD and have a great day!
