I'm looking to cosign a loan with TD Bank for someone who lives 150 miles away. Can I sign at my local TD Bank branch or do I need to sign in person with the primary borrower ?

Thanks for coming to TD Helps with your question, Mary!
We're glad to hear you're interested in a loan with us!
In order to cosign on a loan, all signers must be present at a Store location to sign the loan documents. We understand this may be difficult due to your distance from the other signer, but it is necessary to ensure all documents are signed for jointly with a representative.
We encourage you to check out our Store locator here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc. You may be able to find a location that is equidistance between you and the other signer.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us here or give our Financial Solution Team a call 24/7 at 800-937-5020. You're also invited to stop in to see us at any of our Stores.
Thanks again for visiting us today, Mary!
