I would like to know the physical location of the point of origin for checks I issue on line. I issued a check to my tax collector on May 4th and they say they received it later than the May 10th grace period. I believe that, if you mailed the check on May 4th, unless it was issued from far away, my tax collector should have had it in a couple of days.

Thanks for writing in, Frederick.
We use a third party vendor that prints and mails the checks that are sent out through Bill Pay. Our understanding from that company is that the checks are mailed from either Indiana or Arizona. There is generally four days allowed for mailing the check to ensure it arrives at its destination on time.
If you would like to call us at 800-493-7562, we would be glad to look into this payment and provide for you the date that it was sent out. A Tech Support Specialist is available to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also stop into one of our Stores and we can reach out to that team on your behalf. We hope that this information helps. Have a wonderful day, Frederick.
